Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed martial artist. She was born on August 18, 1986. She is a participant in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was an ex- UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was previously a Strikeforce female bantamweight champion. Tate was also vice president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked 10th in the UFC women's bantamweight rankings at the time of her entry on October 3rd 2022.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was the daughter of Michelle Tate and Robert Schmidt. Tate was born in Tacoma, Washington. She was a tomboy when she was a child and often played in the playgrounds with the other boys.
